2022/06/22 [Announcement] NTU Geography Department & IPCS x Love Binti International Summer Internship Program

NTU Geography Department and International Degree Program in Climate Change / Sustainable Development is organizing a summer internship program on climate action with an NPO, Love Binti International, in Mukono, Uganda. The founder of LBI is one of our IPCSer!

The one-month internship program will help the Taiwan-based NPO formulate an overseas community development strategy through data collection, project designing, applying appropriate technology, and visualizing development impact.

The best thing is that all expenses are all covered!! Big thanks for our Professor Crison and MOE Scholarship for Oversea Internship Program.

Eligibility

National Taiwan University students-Taiwanese Passport holder (Undergrad, Master/PHD Degree)

Fees

Eligible candidates will be provided all expenses required for the program meals, accommodation, land, sea and air transportation and visa.

Ability Requirement

  • Design a map website (WebGIS) for NGO projects, English website building.

  • Installation and maintenance of appropriate technology devices

  • Collect field data and conduct statistical analysis

  • Project Design Document (PDD) writing for carbon reduction stoves project
